We are looking for an excellent Teacher to be our
SENDCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), to help inspire our students and ensure they reach their full potential.


About you


As SENDCO you will head up all aspects of special educational needs provision in the academy and relish the opportunity to work with young people in a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.


As DSL you will oversee all policy and procedures concerning the safeguarding, protection, and welfare of the pupils in this academy.


You will need:

- an appropriate degree and other qualifications required for the award of QTS

  • Qualified Teacher Status
- already awarded or willing to work towards the National SENCO award

  • Designated Safeguarding Lead trained or willingness to undertake the training.


You will lead by example and build strong relationships, working in partnership with parents and carers to secure the best outcomes for our students.

You will be a dynamic and forward-thinking individual, with a real drive to enhance students' experience in the classroom.

We are seeking an ambitious professional with the ability to teach across the key stages, and join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.

As a key member of the team, you will play a lead role in curriculum development alongside progressing and enhancing the teaching practice of others within the academy and beyond.
