Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Professional to work within Newham Council.


Job Purpose

  • Extensive experience in above threshold Public Sector Procurement that can hit the ground running to deliver a backlog of procurement's that require tendering and cover a range of categories
  • The evidenced levels of experience, skills and delivery
  • Skills to proactively research, plan, engage, and undertake to progress procurement's to the next stage
  • Skills and knowledge to recommend and undertake robust procurement strategies for a variety of procurement's. Procedures could be Light touch, supplies, services, works, restricted, open, concessions
  • An appetite to drive savings and value for money
  • Experience in Market engagement and bench marking exercises
