Recycling Plant Operative Wanted

Location: Knottingley, West Yorkshire
Starting at £11.12 per hour
Shifts: 12hour shifts (days and nights rotating)
Panama Shift Pattern
Immediate Start
Temporary to permanent position

Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and take on the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and enhance the processing within all production areas, continuously improving process flow and plant efficiency.
Ensure cleanliness of all landings and machines, promptly reporting and addressing any areas causing spillage.
Collaborate with the Team Supervisor to achieve production targets, optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste streams across the plant.
Provide relief coverage for other plant operative roles during break times and holidays.
Report downtime issues to the Supervisor for accurate recordkeeping.
Take a leading role during plant stoppages or planned outages.
Report plant defects or issues promptly and through the appropriate channels.

What We Are Looking For:

FLT Counterbalance Licence (highly desirable)
Previous experience as a Recycling Operative, Production Operative, or Plant Operative
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices
Proven track record in implementing continuous improvement techniques
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in IT skills
Logical problemsolving abilities
Ability to manage multiple workloads simultaneously
Thrives in a fastpaced, highpressure environment
