Description
An exciting opportunity to join Llamau's service provision in Gwent Support.

You'll be the first point of contact for agencies and individuals in the borough requiring support for themselves or family members.


This role will include working with young people at risk of homelessness - you will provide immediate advice and guidance to all.


In addition, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Newport Centre, in partnership with your co-worker.

This includes administrative tasks, health and safety for the building, meeting agencies and drop in's as well as supporting the monitoring for all schemes.

Full Time, Permanent


Hours: 37 hours per week

30 years ago Llamau was founded to provide homeless teenagers with a safe place to stay.

Since then, we have supported over 67,000 young people, women and their children who are either homeless or facing homelessness.


Many people think the job of a homelessness charity will be to provide accommodation - a safe place to stay.

But it is very clear to us that for most people who are facing homelessness, their problems are far more complex than a lack of permanent shelter.

That's why we treat everyone who needs our support as an individual. We recognise their unique strengths and needs and make sure that they are supported to rebuild their futures.
