The Best Connection are currently recruiting
Cargo Warehouse Operative / X-ray screeners to work for one of our clients based at Belfast International Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global leader in logistics, distribution and supply chain management, with full Aviation and X-ray Training provided.

Hours: Monday to Friday Split shifts 05:0009:00 and 17:0021:00
Location: Belfast International Airport

Requirements of a Cargo Warehouse Operative:

Have a 5 year checkable work history (Obtained for you by us)
Be willing to attend an Aviation Cargo Operative Course (Paid for by the client)
Being willing to attend a Xray Screening Course (Paid for by the client)

Role of a Cargo Warehouse Operative:

Labelling Parcels
Scanning Parcels
Uploading information on to a Computer
Lifting and Moving Parcels (may be up to 10kg in certain areas)
Physical Inspection of Cargo
Operation of xray machines
Responsible for using xray machines to identify dangerous objects in cargo and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft
Maintain focus and awareness within an environment containing numerous distractions, people and noise
Work within a demanding environment, time critical and the requirement to identify and locate potentially lifethreatening devices and devices intended on creating massive destruction
Make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations
