We are looking to appoint a Health and Safety professional to provide additional support to our team.


Under guidance from the Occupational Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for accident/incident investigations, carrying out inspections of premises, audits of safety management systems, providing advice to managers, policy and project work and health and safety training.

You will primarily be advising colleagues from our Education and Social Care services.


The role will appeal to those wishing to advance their career in health and safety, who are committed to further developing their skills and experience by working as part of a skilled team of health and safety professionals.

The Occupational Health & Safety Team operates at the very core of the Council's operations.

We assist both staff and managers to control health and safety risks in the workplace and to support delivery of the Council's priorities.
