We are a small, independently owned pub in Bloomsbury, Central London, seeking someone to join our young, friendly and well motivated team.

The Duke is a friendly traditional pub with a warm, busy atmosphere serving mostly regular local business people and residents.

Examples of duties required include:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers
Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
Maintain a clean and organized bar area
Handle transactions and process payments accurately
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Assist with opening and closing duties as required

- restocking and general bar duties.

Approximately 20-25 hours per week, more available if required. (closed Sundays, bank holidays and Christmas through to New year)

Opening hours 12pm-11.00pm (Finish at 11.30pm latest)

Must be fluent in English.

References are required and will be verified.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with operations and customer service principles
