Junior HR/Administrator

As Junior Administrator you will have contact with both internal and external customers and will deal with their requirements and requests in a friendly and professional manner, going the extra mile to exceed expectations wherever possible.

You will coordinate all aspects of administrative work in the hotel and maintain all matters relating to administration in a confidential, professional manner.

Administrator Areas of Responsibility

HR

  • Support the Management in areas of people management.
  • Process holiday requests
  • Document sickness absence
  • New starter details including.
  • Request references for all new starters
  • Issue online training to new starters
  • Keep uptodate training matrix for properties.
Purchase Ledger

  • Uploading PO requests to Head Office accounts system.
  • Scanning invoices to Head Office Accounts System.
  • Supporting the accounts team within HQ with all purchase ledger queries, ensuring all relevant paperwork is supplied and dealt with accordingly.
General Admin/Support

  • Supporting the Senior Administrator as and when necessary.
  • Sending letters, typing minutes.
  • Assisting with the banking and Change orders.
  • Petty Cash.
  • Supporting management with any other ad hoc tasks.

Salary:
From £20,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Human resources: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • CIPD (preferred)
