We are looking for an experienced, organised and adaptable administrator, ideally with a background in healthcare to join our amazing Inpatient Team and to provide the day-to-day administrative support as a vital part of the clinical operation of the Inpatient Unit.

North London Hospice is committed to providing the highest quality palliative and end-of-life care and support for patients and families living with a life-limiting illness.
Within our Inpatient Unit we provide 24-hour Specialist Palliative Care at our Finchley Site in Woodside Avenue, offering short-term admissions to address complex needs and/or care in the last days of life.
Reception duties including, but not limited to, receiving and welcoming patients and visitors in person, answering and processing phone queries promptly and efficiently from patients, relatives, healthcare professionals and funeral directors
Clinical governance and organisation including effective management and ordering of clinical and non-clinical stock, and stock rotation
Volunteers including management of rota, assisting with filling shifts caused by absences (planned and unplanned) assist with interviewing, inducting, and supporting volunteers on the unit.
Infection Control
Maintain the highest standards of infection control
Familiarise with, and adhere to, North London Hospice Infection Control Processes, Policies and Procedures
Health and Safety
Understand individual safety and security responsibilities
Familiarise with, and adhere to, the relevant health, safety, and security policies across North London Hospice
Be aware and work to support own personal health and safety and the health and safety of others across the Hospice
Maintain patient, personal, and organisational confidentiality at all times. This includes patient medical and financial information; employee record; student records; financial
Confidentiality
Maintain patient, personal, and organisational confidentiality at all times. This includes patient
medical and financial information; employee records; student records; financial and operating data of North London Hospice and any other information that is of a private or sensitive nature
Familiarise with, and adhere to, the relevant confidentiality policies within North London Hospice
