Brakepress Operator / Engineering Operator - Early Shift

Hours:
Mon - Thursday 6am - 2.30pm, Friday 6am - 11am

Overtime Available

Location:
Canley, Coventry

A great opportunity with a well-established fabrication company who are looking to add a brake press setter / operator to their team on a permanent basis at their site in Coventry due to expansion.

Our client is looking for someone with engineering brake press experience, operating brake presses or setter operating expertise (setter experience not compulsory).

Key Tasks:

Set and operate the CNC brake press to produce a highquality product.
Manufacture parts to a specific timeframe adhering to the business build plan.
Adhere to SOP reporting all noncompliance to the hope floor supervisor.
Maintain a high level of quality to finished products.
Set and sign off operator quality and safety.

Key Requirements:

Experience with operating a brake press.
Set machines to meet drawing tolerances; set customer specifications.
Programming new work.
Operate machinery with assigned areas, adhering to current SOP.
Ability to read engineer drawings
Good communication skills.

Enthusiastic, ambitious, and proactive approach to work.

Analytical mind set.
