Role and Responsibilities:
As an OBS + GYNAE Senior Specialist Registrar, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive care to women across their reproductive and gynaecological health needs
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing, treating, and managing medical conditions and issues specific to Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Conducting thorough assessments, performing procedures, and creating personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborating effectively within interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for women.
- Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Providing guidance and support to patients and their families, explaining medical conditions and treatment options clearly.
- Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and integrating evidencebased practices into your care.
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills and maintaining patientcentric care throughout the care journey.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license in the UK.
- Minimum of six months of clinical experience as a Specialist Registrar (SPR) in OBS + GYNAE.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and treating medical conditions commonly found in women's health.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
