  • An exciting opportunity has arisen to oversee our Littlehampton School. You will be an enthusiastic, wellmotivated and suitably qualified person with a keen interest in all aspects of building management, maintenance, DIY, painting and decorating, caretaking and gardening skills together with an ability to supervise and work alongside cleaning staff and external Contractors. You will work as part of team of five premises officers, contributing to maintaining the safety and security of our school sites. You will work well on your own and as part of team and enjoy the hands on approach of all aspects of estates support. You will be creative and innovative in your approach, posses excellent communication skills and strive to be an outstanding member of our team.
  • The role of Premises Officer:
  • Ensure that the school environment is maintained to a satisfactory standard
  • Deliver a quality service in a school where high standards are set and expected
  • Carry out compliance checks
  • Complete mandatory reports
  • Provide support to other Centres when required
  • About you:
  • Maths and English GCSE or Equivalent
  • Experience in ICT software, particularly office 36
  • Experience in similar working environment
  • Have a patient and flexible attitude
  • Be well organised and highly motivated
  • The ability to work in a team and on own initiative

  • Please note that this is an allyear round role and operates on a splitshift basis. Hours are 7.30am to 11am and 2pm to 6pm (2.30pm on a Friday).
