We are currently seeking two Housing Pathway Workers to join our team on a full-time basis for a one year fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.

The Role
As a Housing Pathway Worker, you will provide support for women to help them secure suitable accommodation.


You will manage a caseload of service users and develop tailored housing/move on plans for each individual, ensuring they receive personalised, compassionate and effective support.


Developing partnerships with local authorities and other housing providers in various boroughs across London, you will create system changes that improve housing outcomes for survivors of domestic abuse.


Additionally, you will:

  • Develop referral pathways for each borough's provision around homelessness
  • Support the utilisation of Private Rented Sector accommodation as a housing option
  • Build and maintain links with housing law solicitors and local law centres
  • Create and maintain a resource database

About You
To be considered as a Housing Pathway Worker, you will need:

  • Experience supporting vulnerable people within the housing sector
  • Knowledge of the impact that domestic abuse has upon women and their children
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation relating to domestic abuse and housing
  • Knowledge of housing legislation, guidance and local policy
  • A degree, NVQ 3/4 or equivalent qualification or experience


Other organisations may call this role Housing Support Worker, Domestic Abuse Support Worker, Social Worker, IDVA, Independent Domestic Violence Advisor, Housing Services Worker, Accommodation Support Worker, or Housing Pathway Officer.
