The key responsibilities of an Finance Assistant
will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Perform regular bookkeeping tasks including recording receipts, costs, payroll and other financial transactions
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying and scanning
  • Coordinate with team members to manage workflow and deadlines
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
  • Maintain records of invoices and tax payments
  • Address queries and issues relating to finance and administration

The Successful Applicant:


A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exposure to the Not For Profit and Charities industry
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
