The role
The difference our new HISS Support Bay Deputy Team Leader will make

As a HISS Support Bay Deputy Team Leader, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

Ensuring that by supporting the HFS support bays team leader the contracted output is met in a safe and controlled approach in line with fleet planning representatives' instruction.

Day to day, you'll ensure welfare of the staff through, mentorship, leadership, and wellbeing of the team, maintain all safety and compliance standards, and reporting of any incidents correctly, meeting all required deadlines in line with processes, completion of maintenance activities on time and to high standard of all reporting duties, delivery of capability improvements in process and safety protocols and contribution to engineering forums as required

Essential Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience from an aviation maintenance environment
  • Training and mentoring experience in an Aviation mechanical discipline up to NVQ level 3 as a minimum
  • Obtain or have the ability to obtain BPSS clearance
