About the Role


To predominantly support the P&C team providing administrative services and operational support within Xtrac, ensuring the effective delivery of P&C services as required.


Day to Day

  • To manage and coordinate the associated administration activities within P&C.
  • To support and provide basic advice to all employees and Managers on P&Crelated issues as required.
  • To support the P&C BP Team with the administration of short and longterm sickness absences arranging occupational health referrals where necessary.
  • To update and maintain the P&C system of core employee data.
  • To process all daytoday correspondence within P&C and associated administration for:
  • New Starters
  • Leavers
  • Payroll advice
  • Personal Development Reviews, probation
  • Employment references
  • Budgets any costs incurred/invoiced to be recorded.
  • Training booking internal and external courses (inc H&S)
  • To ensure all Personnel ecopy files are kept up to date.
  • To help as and when necessary on any P&C project work.

About You

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a busy P&C or administration function.
  • Providing administrative support.
  • Working with people data systems, inputting, and maintaining systems
  • Providing support and advice to employees and line Managers
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing or bluecollar environment
  • Good understanding of P&C policies and procedures

Skills

  • Communicates well both in writing and verbally.
  • Enjoys and can work as part of a small team.
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Uses judgement to know when to ask for help and guidance.
  • Uses own initiative and can work independently.
