Credit Control Officer / Up to £30,000 / Manchester - Trafford Park / Hybrid

Location:
Manchester Trafford Park

Salary:
Up to £30,000

Holidays: 23 days plus bank holidays

Working hours:
Flexible hours, 9-5 or 8-4

Main Duties:

Chase client payments for outstanding invoices
Process client invoices in a timely manner
Resolve client invoicing queries
Allocate client payments accordingly
Create and maintain new customer accounts
Maintain and collate Management Information for the Senior Management Team
Ensure the Credit Risk Log is up to date with accurate credit limits and client account balances
Ensure the cash forecast module is up to date

Person Specification:

Proven experience in credit control or a similar role
SAP experience is essential
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a busy and varied workload
Ability to work both efficiently and effectively alone as well as part of a large and varied team
Flexibility and excellent attention to detail is essential
Basic skills in all MS packages, including Excel and Word
Ability to use initiative and be proactive in the approach to all tasks undertaken
Possess a high level of perseverance as well as a strong work ethic
