Paediatric Audiologist - Bank

Band 6 or 7 depending on experience

The post holder will be part of a team, providing a comprehensive and effective paediatric audiology service for children.

The post involves working in community-based second-tier audiology clinics in the assessment of children's hearing and the provision of care for those found to have significant hearing impairment.


The post holder will ensure that an effective audiological service is provided to all children in Bromley in association with health professionals and colleagues from other professions and organisations.

They will provide specialist advice and support to parents, carers and other professionals involved in the child's care.


The post holder will contribute to the achievement of KPIs and standards dictated by NHS England, BAA, BSA, RCCP/AHCD, HCPC and other governing bodies.

To perform audiology assessments for the second tier Audiology service by:

  • Performing audiological assessments for pre-school and school aged children
  • Ensuring that a high quality service is maintained
  • Promoting the principles of Family Friendly Hearing Services for Children
The post holder is responsible for safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk.


Bromley Healthcare, as a community interest company, offers an extensive array of services ranging from community nursing, including district nursing and health visiting, to specialised nursing care, along with therapy services catering to individuals across various age groups.

Compensation is contingent upon NHS experience and current banding/pay point.

Carry out Audiology assessments in line with approved protocols and national guidance for the 6m-18y age group

Work in collaboration with Tertiary Audiology and ENT

Adhere to Bromley Healthcare policies
