Description

The Department of Computer Science is seeking to recruit 4 lecturers/senior lecturers to contribute to research and teaching in an area of Computer Science.

The department currently delivers courses in Computer Science, Business Computing and Data Analytics, IT, Computer Networking, and Cybersecurity and Forensics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

It has a very successful Masters in Data Science, as well as a range of other postgraduate specialist Masters programmes.

Further new programmes are planned for 2023/2024, including a new Digital Technology Solutions Specialist Apprenticeship Programme. Research in the department is clustered around five major areas of Computer Science.

These include:
Interaction Design, Formal Methods, Intelligent Environments, Networked Systems and Artificial Intelligence/Data Science.
