Are you an experienced Buyer/ Procurement Professional looking for a new challenge?
A Global Analytical Services provider are seeking a Buyer to join the Team at their site near Birmingham.

You will be an essential part of the procurement team involved in the sourcing of a wide range of products and services to meet the requirements ofa large, fast paced organisation.

This a permanent, full-time role (Mon-Fri).

Role Overview

Manage a range of simultaneous procurement projects.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers.
Assist in Tender/ Benchmarking processes
Review data to identify trends/ identify opportunities.
Supplier negotiations with the aim of meeting company savings targets.

Requirements:

Experience gained from a similar procurement role in a fast paced environment (at least 2 years)
Educated to degree level (ore equivalent)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
The ability to work effectively and prioritise workload
Comfortable with relevant software (Excel, Oracle, Sage)
Ideally CIPS qualified or working towards.
