Maintenance Engineer, Bury

Salary:
£36,000 - £40,000 (dependant on experience)


Job type:
Full-time


Hours:
Shift work, 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday


The Role


In this role you will work across a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment to improve site output and minimise downtime across the site.

This position would suit someone with an engineering background looking for a long-term permanent positionwithin a forward-thinking company.


Key Tasks

  • On a daily basis you will need to be reactive and proactive with your maintenance to ensure production downtime is mínimal
  • You will be diagnosing faults, troubleshooting equipment, and carrying out repairs
  • Planned maintenance tasks/inspections
  • Be able to manage your time well by planning work and booking jobs
  • Support the wider engineering team with continuous improvement projects
  • Facilitate and support installation of new equipment

Skills/Experience

  • Previous experience working in a similar position
  • Electrical and Mechanical skill set
  • Strong fault finding and diagnosing experience both electrically and mechanically
  • Able to work well within a team environment and as part of a team
