What does the role involve?


As a member of the Recoveries team, you are responsible for working collaboratively with the Recoveries Manager, external providers, including Legal providers, Debt collection Agencies, Court Enforcement officers to maximise recoveries.


Some of your key duties include:

  • Assisting the Recoveries Manager with the instructing of solicitors to act on behalf of Novuna Business Finance ensuring action is compliant, appropriate and value for money.
  • Aid with preparation of write off rationale and forms for sanction.
  • Supporting the Recoveries Manager with the day to day instructions for our outsourced Agencies and resolve or escalate queries.
  • Maintaining and managing both the Legal and the Recoveries mailboxes, including invoices
  • Assisting, where necessary, with the day to day relationship with insolvency practitioners, including proof of debts, proxy forms and any other document requirements.
  • Adhere to established processes and procedures and also challenge the 'status quo' to ensure that we constantly strive to improve everything that we do and to find new ways of working that make a real difference to us and to our customers.
What are we looking for?

You will have excellent organisation and communication skills.

You come with a strong background in administration and like working to your own initiative as well as in a team.

You enjoy the challenges of working to deadlines and passionate about the focus and attention you put into delivering excellent services.


Also, we're looking for the following:

  • Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft office particularly excel
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Collections experience (nice to have)
  • Legal background (nice to have)
  • Asset background (nice to have)
