Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings.

The role involves assisting healthcare professionals in delivering essential medical services and support to patients.


Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive care.
  • Drive safely and responsibly to attend home care visits or transport patients as required.
  • Utilise IT systems proficiently to update patient records, input data, and access necessary information.
  • Assist in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients in home care or care home environments.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals effectively.
  • Valid driving licence with the ability to drive safely and responsibly.
  • Proficiency in IT systems for accurate recordkeeping and data entry.
  • Knowledge of care plans and experience in providing home care or working in a care home setting.
  • Fluent in English to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
Up to £11.50 per hour

Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Every weekend
  • Flexitime
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Care home: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
