About The Role:

_Yorkare Homes, an award winning Care Home provider based in East Yorkshire, is looking for a gardener to help maintain and improve our gardens across the group._

The core duties of your role will be spent undertaking grass cutting, bedding plants and other grounds and gardens maintenance duties using a wide range of pedestrian controlled machinery, hand held equipment and hand tools.
You will also be asked to assist the Homes handymen when required in a variety of tasks, and work with our decorator during the winter months (when not needing to prepare the gardens).
The role includes attending various sites across the group as required.
The Homes are based in Hedon, Goole, Hessle, York, Hornsea, and Beverley. There is also another 2 Homes in Lincolnshire which may require support occasionally.

Full time (40 hours a week)

£12 per hour

Every applicant MUST hold a valid clean UK drivers license and be able to provide details for a criminal record check (DBS).

It is essential that you have had gardening experience in the past, happy to work alone and be flexible to meet the requirements of our residents at each Home.
