Humber NHS Foundation Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 assistant psychologist to join the Crisis and Intervention Team for Older People (CITOP).

CITOP provide intensive community assessment and intervention for older people in crisis.

In this role you will be expected to collect information (both from the client and the system as well as case notes reviews), contribute to assessment and formulation and provide control and regulation interventions within the community.

There will also be a requirement to administer and score neuropsychological assessments under supervision and present information to the MDT.

You would be joining a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals and therefore the role holds a number of opportunities for experience and development.

The post is across Hull and East Riding and therefore the post holder must be able to drive.

The working hours for CITOP are 8am - 12pm Monday to Sunday and therefore you will be expected to work shifts including evenings and weekends.

Supervision will be provided by a senior clinical psychologist


Applicants must be Psychology Graduates who have achieved at least a 2:1 degree in Psychology and graduate basis for registration with the British Psychology Society.

We are also looking for someone with good verbal and written communication skills, good organisational skills, the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and the ability to work flexibly.
