Description
Undertake quality assurance of own work and to ensure that tasks are completed to agreed timescales. Undertake the collection of information from clinical areas as directed by the clinical audit facilitator. Use good communication skills to support collection of data from various sources within the Trust.Provide the agreed support to clinical audit facilitators and complete tasks as delegated Support the production of written, or electronic, reports to reflect the outcome of projects, using agreed templates where appropriate.
Where tasks are delegated, to be responsible for the quality assurance of those tasks. Attend departmental meetings and where necessary take notes and transcribe as necessary.Answer telephone calls in a timely manner and deal with all enquiries effectively, and where necessary escalate to the appropriate person to rectify any issues/queries accordingly.
Assist with the confidential management of records and ensure that all documentation is handled appropriately in line with trust policies.
Be responsible for identifying own role-related objectives and training needs as part of the staff appraisal programme.Interrogate clinical records and systems extracting relevant and accurate information. Carry out project related activities such as; word processing, data entry, creation of spreadsheets. Maintain department electronic information systems and update web pages
