Job Purpose

Key accountabilities

  • Delivering effective marketing plans, engaging stewardship journeys, and delivering accurate reporting of event KPIs
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate Challenge events, to deliver against KPIs and income targets
  • Help create and implement insightled stewardship plans and supporter journeys for achieving annual fundraising targets and responsibility for the supporter experience to deepen supporter engagement and drive longterm value
  • Day to day liaison with external suppliers to implement robust systems and customer care services to ensure smooth campaign delivery and optimum supporter experience
  • Provide reactive marketing and stewardship support to other income streams within the Community Fundraising department (Volunteer Fundraising Groups, Regional Corporate and Legacies)
  • Support the Central Fundraising Team with additional fundraising operational support

Person Profile

  • Project management experience with a proven ability to plan and manage activity that delivers projects on time and to budget
  • Experience of working with external partners and of designing and delivering customer or supporter experiences
  • Experience of developing engaging supporter journeys across channels to deepen engagement with supporters and drive further actions
  • A commitment to Save the Children's vision, mission, values and approach

This role will be home-based within the UK and it is expected that the post holder will attend all UK based Challenge Events. Willingness to travel to meetings in London on average once per month is required.

Ways of Working:


Remote First - The majority of our roles can be performed remotely, however you may work from the office as often as you wish.

Whilst you will be predominantly working from home, we may at times require you to come to your contracted office (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter).


Note:
This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team. This is intended to be time spent on collaborating with colleagues and relationship building.


On-site - There are certain roles that cannot be performed remotely and so your role will be based in an office location and you may occasionally be able to work from home.
