The Finance Director will be retiring and this role offers you time to learn and establish an authoritative understanding of the ever-evolving Education operating environment and the potential to step-up to more senior roles

Now, we're seeking a Finance Manager to bring their strategic financial vision to our vibrant community.

Key responsibilities

Ensure the accurate preparation and timely submission of all financial reporting and management information
Produce timely monthly management accounts and forecasts, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations and the Trust's annual consolidated and trading company accounts
Develop appropriate business analytics and information
Partner with the senior management team, providing them with financial analysis and insight to assist forecasting and decision making
Work closely with the FD to identify and implement process and business system improvements for efficient finance operations
Preparation of VAT returns
To lead the daytoday finance operations, and coordinate the finance team to deliver work plan priorities
Maintain appropriate financial control and accounting arrangements for all activity which complies with financial regulations.

Salary:
£55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
