We at Balfor Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Children's Residential Support Workers to take on a permanent position for a Children's EBD care provider in the Erdington area.

Workers will provide support to children with a variety of needs that may include Autism, Learning Disabilities, EBD and Challenging Behaviours.

Salary:
£19,019 (Pro Rata) Plus Sleep Ins

Requirements:

6 month's
Minimum UK experience working with children (preferably as a
Residential Support Worker Months is preferable

- level 3 or 4 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desired.

Experience working with children with EBD.
Physical Intervention and Deescalation training is desired.
Clear Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to undergo a new check.
Driving Licence with access to a car (Desired).

Duties and Responsibilities:

To maintain professional record keeping in line with home policy.
To ensure all information attained on shift is kept confidential and in line with the provider's data protection policies.
To support the day to day needs of the service.
Provide personal care to service users whilst ensuring respect and consent.
To support service users during mealtimes.
To support service users in their morning and bedtime routines
To properly manage behaviours using deescalation techniques provided in training.
