Role Summary:

Parker Meggitt's Talent Acquisition Centre of Expertise team is growing. We are seeking a relationship-oriented Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our team in the UK. The role is for a proactive, relationship oriented recruiter to join a forward thinking well established in-house Talent team.

This individual will be a champion and advocate for best in class Talent Acquisition strategies within the organisation focusing on supporting our world-class Manufacturing and Engineering teams.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Provide leadership and execution of the endtoend recruiting cycle for Engineering / Technical business groups across the UK
  • Develop and manage the experiencedhire Talent Acquisition relationship with business leaders and stakeholders, including Hiring Managers and Human Resources Business Partners
  • Design and manage creative attraction strategies
  • Proactively drive and execute the global and regional strategies which align with recruitment policies
  • Partner with senior management to design and implement optimal sourcing strategies for their businesses, including leveraging various internal and external sources
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to deliver valueadded services to internal client population (including market intelligence, competitor mapping, talent pooling, succession planning, and diversity initiatives)
  • Lead and contribute to regional / global projects associated with HR and Talent Acquisition and Development

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:


  • Experienced in the fullcycle recruiting experience with a combination of inhouse and agency recruiting ideally
  • Experience using a broad range of sourcing techniques, including data mining, advertising, direct research, social media, etc.
  • Good understanding of current trends affecting the Aerospace and Defense, Energy and Industrial Industries
  • Ability to develop partnerships with your stakeholders and team across the globe
  • Proven direct sourcing skills and ability to leverage internal and external networks, and market knowledge, to identify, assess, cultivate and deliver the best talent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Word and Outlook
