Software Engineer / Image Processing / C / C++ / Algorithms

Role Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

Supporting and contributing to the development of video compression technology
Participating in ongoing research and development to improve video compression techniques
Design and implementation video compression algorithms
Reviewing and evaluating stateofthe art approaches to compression including but not limited to the exploitation of deep learning techniques.

Person Specification

Essential skills will include:

Good understanding of video and image coding principles, algorithms, and techniques.
Knowledge and experience of video compression standards, such as H.264, HEVC, VVC, VP9, AV
Excellent software design and debugging skills and solid programming skills in C or C++
