Description
Education World are currently working with a Partner Education Provision based in Durham who provide alternative education supporting students with social and emotional needs, including those who are disengaged from mainstream education.
Hours: 9:00 am - 2:30 pmDays: 5 days per week
Pay:
£90-£100 per day
Skills required:
Strong behaviour management
Excellent communication skills
A positive approach to learning
Ability to deescalate children in crisis
Role includes, but is not limited to:
Support pupils in and out of the classroom, with pastoral and personal development
Manage behaviour of pupils sent out of class
Patrol school working with pupils not in class, for whatever reason
Helping students to engage with the set curriculum, both Educational and Vocational
Encouraging students to achieve their full potential
Providing stability to comfort vulnerable students
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 27.5 per week
Salary:
£89.25 per day
