Description

Rapid Recruit are recruiting an experienced Stock Controller to join our clients team based in Nelson.

Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking stock movement, monitoring stock levels and identifying discrepancies
Ensuring inventory levels are sufficient and initiating replenishment orders when necessary
Inspecting incoming stock for damage or defects and ensuring that all products meet quality standards
Generating reports on stock levels, stock turnover rates and inventory costs
Utilizing the company van to safely transfer stock between sites as required
Operating a forklift to manoeuvre and transport goods around the site
Arranging stock, labelling shelves and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace
Collaborating closely with Warehouse personnel, Supervisors and Production Planners.
Previous experience in a stock control, warehouse administration role or similar
Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer software (e.g. SAP, Excel, Outlook)
Valid driving licence, FLT is also preferred but not essential.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm at £12.94 per hour.
