Description

The Albex Group (Kent Foods Limited) is seeking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative / General Labourer at our depot in Basildon.

Loading and unloading of vehicles;
General labour, you will need to be physically fit due to the manual labour involved;
Housekeeping duties within the warehouse, including hygiene & cleaning;
Working under Food Hygiene Regulations;
Fork Lift experience would be a bonus, but not a requirement;
Experience of order picking is desirable although full training will be provided.

You will be required to be computer literate, hardworking whilst adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.

A Flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure and without direct supervision
Ability to communicate with colleagues
Have previous experience in a similar environment

The role is based on an
average of 40 to 48 hours per week but you will be expected to undertake working hours which are necessary to meet the needs of the business and therefore a flexible approach is required.

We operate a shift pattern, working Mondays till Fridays.

Full-time, Zero hours contract

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
