Description

Monarch Security Services is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Detective to join our team in the UK.

As a Store Detective, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our retail establishment and preventing theft and criminal activities.

Responsibilities:

Conduct surveillance and monitor CCTV cameras to identify and prevent theft, shoplifting, and other criminal activities.
Maintain a visible presence within the store to deter potential offenders.
Identify and apprehend suspects in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Collaborate with store management and law enforcement agencies to handle incidents and provide necessary support.
Conduct thorough investigations into reported incidents, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports.
Implement loss prevention strategies and recommend improvements to enhance store security.
Provide excellent customer service and assist with any securityrelated concerns or inquiries.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Store Detective or in a similar loss prevention/security role.
Indepth knowledge of loss prevention techniques, CCTV systems, and security protocols.
Strong observational and analytical skills to identify suspicious behavior and potential threats.
Ability to handle confrontational situations calmly and professionally.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, store management, and law enforcement.
High level of integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is preferred.
