Job description
United Living Property Services is a thriving business on a huge growth trajectory which will see our Group turnover double to more than £1bn within the next 5 years.
If you are a customer-focused, solutions-driven Planner / Scheduler with a property / construction background, now is a fantastic time to seize the opportunities on offer within our ambitious and entrepreneurial business.
Our Responsive Repairs division works alongside housing associations and local authorities up and down the country to provide essential maintenance services for residents in their properties - from repairing woodwork or faulty electrics to fixing taps or boilers - our teams are on hand to ensure we're delivering a prompt and efficient service.
This will include:
- Being the first point of contact for all tenants regarding any repair issues to their property or defects to the block
- Diagnosing repairs accurately
- Booking repair issues and appointments on the inhouse system (Capita)
- Liaising with engineers ensuring that they have all the relevant information and materials to successfully carry out the repair
- Liaising with customers to advise of appointments or delays and updates on followon works
- Planning / scheduling of work for both operative and subcontractors as well as daily emergency work
Being a reactive role, this position requires somebody with excellent organisation skills, a good eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, often pressurised environment.
You will ideally have prior experience as a Planner / Scheduler, ideally for a main contractor, but the main thing for us is your commitment to delivering excellent customer service at all times in a professional, courteous manner.
In order to achieve this, you will possess the following:- Excellent communication skills able to liaise effectively at all levels and build up good working relationship with customers
- A genuine interest in helping customers at all levels
- Good observation skills, with attention to detail, calm and professional approach
- Ability to work equally well alone using initiative or effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work to tight timelines with good decisionmaking skills
This is a great opportunity to join a busy, hard-working and friendly team based out of our office in Loughton.
