To work in a clinic based setting, assessing patients who attend for wound care, leg ulcer management, including Lower limb Assessments, Injections, Catheter Care and Ear Irrigation

An opportunity has arisen within the Treatment Room Service in Liverpool for a Band 5 Care Practitioner. This is a permanent post and will be 30 hours per week.

An existing knowledge of Tissue Viability and Leg Ulcer Management would be advantageous.

The primary function of the role is to provide proactive, responsive services that address the care needs of patients within a defined neighbourhood.

The service operates appointment led clinics with fast turn over of patients.

For the Treatment Room Service there is a requirement to move and travel between clinic sites. The service operates 7 days a week, with some late clinics until 8.00pm and bank holidays.

There is a requirement within this post to be able to travel across localities to various clinic sites for work purposes.

Main responsibilities are to run planned nurse led clinics for wound care, leg ulcer management, injections, urinary catheters & ear irrigation.
