About the Role


You will be expected to contribute to the research profile of the department through the activities of one of our Research Units, and to meet the qualitative and qualitative requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence Framework.


About You
This role will be based in the Department of Social Work and Wellbeing.

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication & interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.

The post arises from the Departmental Wellbeing programmes' success in recruiting high student numbers to therapy focused courses, which include the BSc (Hons) child and Adolescent Mental Health and Wellbeing and Health Education England contracted programmes including EMHP and MHWP.

You will teach, carry out & publish research, and supervise students across programmes. The post will appeal to Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Registered Mental Health Nurses, qualified EMHPs, CWPs or similar. Qualifications in therapeutic interventions such as CBT/IAPT/PWP (psychological therapies) would be essential.
