About The Role

Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:

Ensuring the smooth running of the bar
Providing excellent customer service
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety
Working within the C&B teams in particular running Bars at weddings and events
Ensure that all Bar equipment is in good working order
Ensure the Bar opens and closes on time and is ready to trade
Assist in the induction of new staff, providing shadowing shifts
Follow all Till and Cashing up procedures and ensure all staff are following them correctly
Ensure stock rotation occurs and stock is 'held' in the correct manner, recording any wastage
Attend relevant staff meetings
Ensure all drinks or food requests are billed correctly.
To conduct regular inventories of stock, glassware & other supplies and ensure tight control of these itemsGeorgian Elegance

Ensure the department's maintenance and cleaning schedule is adhered to, ensuring all work surfaces, shelves, floors, walls, sinks, cupboards etc are cleaned to a high standard.
Adhere to all regulations in respect of health and safety
Any other duties as directed by the Restaurant & Bar Manager or other member of the management team

Requirements for the role:

Previous experience working in a similar role and/or environment (preferably in a high

- end restaurant within the hotel, leisure or hospitality industry would be a distinct advantage)

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
Accurate and efficient cashhandling skills
