Description
This is an exciting opportunity to improve the quality of care across Coventry & Warwickshire for those with mental health and / or learning disability / autism needs supported by care providers in the community.
The post holder will lead the integrated quality monitoring team for care homes and domiciliary care providing leadership and day to day operational management, working closely with key stakeholder from across the system.
The post holder will work in close collaboration with key stakeholders including providers to monitor and continuously improve the quality of care within care homes, supported living accommodation and domiciliary care.
They will hold responsibility for the delivery of the overall programme of quality monitoring including both proactive and responsive visiting schedules with specialist interest in mental health and learning disability provision.
They will be a key member of the local Provider Escalation Panel's for Coventry and Warwickshire which will include attendance at monthly meetings and preparation and presentation of reports as required.

Lead on the development and implementation of robust quality monitoring and reporting processes that align across health, social care and regulatory bodies such as CQC and comply with robust governance processes.
Review and analyse a range of information to inform objective judgements about the quality of care.
Produce regular and ad-hoc quality performance and activity reports.
Escalate any immediate concerns relating to the quality and safety of services to the Local Authority Lead and the Deputy Director of Nursing at the ICB.
Lead on the review of provider improvement plans and provide feedback to relevant escalation panels on progress.
Provide expert advice and guidance in relation to quality performance indicators to care home providers.
Develop a range of tools to support the effective and efficient monitoring quality.
In close collaboration with the ICB Patient Safety Lead to promote serious incident reporting across care providers and participate in the Root Cause Analysis of serious incidents where appropriate.
