£12.70 per hour

My client is looking for someone to join their Welfare Support Team.
This post is for 37 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday from 8.45am to 5pm, minus lunchtimes.
All our customers may be in very difficult circumstances and as a result may require strong but sensitive handling. Successful applicants should be at ease talking with customers, and confident when they need to be.
The placement is likely to involve taking these calls in the main, but duties may also include the following:
- Taking calls from and regarding Ukrainian guests
- Extracting information and providing correct information to customers
- Signposting customers to support from specialist advisers
- Signposting customers to wider support from a variety of services and organisations.
- Communicating decisions to customers and making the resulting awards.
- If necessary, providing constructive challenge to customers whose personal financial decisions contribute to the need.
