Description

The Role:

The Royal Aeronautical Society is a professional body dedicated to aerospace, aviation, and space communities. They exist to further the advancement of aeronautical art, science, and engineering around the world.


The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Officer support the Royal Aeronautical Society's Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Women in Aerospace activities.


The role will include working closely with RAeS staff, members, volunteers, employers, and key stakeholders, and cover various ED&I strands.

Other duties will include

  • Provide the Secretariat to the RAeS' Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, the Women in Aerospace, Aviation and Space Committee and the alta Mentoring Steering Group.
  • Monitor the ED&I calendar to identify celebration dates and key campaigns and will provide organisational support to ED&I events.
  • Ensure the Society's website pages for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Women in Aerospace and the alta mentoring platform are kept up to date
  • Act as point of contact for the alta mentoring scheme, This will include attending weekly meetings with the alta steering team, providing data analysis of user engagement, and organising events such as speed mentoring, webinars, and regional events to promote alta to new partners.

About You:


  • Experience of website Content Management Systems (CMS) & Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM)

What we Offer:


  • Salary: Up to £29,000 DOE


  • Location: London/Hybrid

  • Very occasional UK travel required and attendance at events
  • Hours: Mon
  • Fri 9am to 5pm
