Join the Balfor team in our search for an Academic Support Worker, dedicated to providing assistance to a student enrolled at the University of London Arts.


As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to offer invaluable support to an art student who has a skin condition called Hidradenitis Suppurativa as well as some mental health conditions.


This student maintains a university schedule, attending classes:

  • Thursday 10am 2pm/2pm 6pm
  • Friday 3pm 6pm

Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing support to the student throughout their day.
  • In the event of a flare up, assist the student with changing their dressings.
  • Provide positive reassurance if the student is having auditory and visual hallucinations.
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions and changing dressings.
  • Care certification/Healthcare Training with Certificates is mandatory.
  • A minimum of six months of prior experience as a care or support worker within the United Kingdom.
  • Reliability and unwavering commitment to your responsibilities.
  • DBS on the update service

£13.00 per hour
