Join the Balfor team in our search for an Academic Support Worker, dedicated to providing assistance to a student enrolled at the University of London Arts.

As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to offer invaluable support to an art student who has a skin condition called Hidradenitis Suppurativa as well as some mental health conditions.

This student maintains a university schedule, attending classes:

Thursday 10am 2pm/2pm 6pm
Friday 3pm 6pm

Key Responsibilities:

Providing support to the student throughout their day.
In the event of a flare up, assist the student with changing their dressings.
Provide positive reassurance if the student is having auditory and visual hallucinations.
Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions and changing dressings.
Care certification/Healthcare Training with Certificates is mandatory.
A minimum of six months of prior experience as a care or support worker within the United Kingdom.
Reliability and unwavering commitment to your responsibilities.
