This is a fantastic role for an ambitious HR professional to join a successful and well established HR Team.
You will assist the HR Director to provide a proactive and effective support and advisory HR service for all departmen
ts.
Main duties
:
-
HR Partnering with your designated departments, encompassing all facets of HR. such as providing advice and guidance on employment matters, recruitment, performance management and Attendance Management.
:

Assist with coaching and developing managers skills in regard to HR related issues including policies.
:
-
Take a lead on projects to support health and wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion and general staff development.
:

To provide a dedicated HR Business Partner service in relation employee relations matters. Ensuring professional relationships are developed across all areas
:

To advise and support managers on restructuring issues, including support with redundancy, redeployment, and early retirement cases, in accordance with the policy and employment legislation.
:

To support the management of casework, relating to sickness absence. This includes making recommendations, giving advice and support to managers, liaising with Occupational Health, case review meetings and ultimately dismissal hearings.

Support and advice manager in regards the Attendance management Police and related formal meetings
:
-
Update, maintain and provide up to date sickness absence information for all relevant management meetings.
:

To oversee the end-to-end recruitment process and the HR Assistant in relation to your designated departments
:

To oversee the day-to-day duties of the HR Assistant
:
-
To advice managers on effective recruitment and selection practices including adverts, job descriptions and attending interviews.
:

Full compliance with safer recruitment processes, ensuring all preemployment checks are carried out, of a satisfactory standard and appropriately recorded.
:

To review all contracts prior to issue and ensure accurate terms and conditions are being issues
:

To manage the end of fixed term contracts to ensure termination and re-deployment procedures are adhered to.
:

Support the colleges on boarding and induction processes.
:

To Support Managers to effectively manage probation periods thought to termination if required.
