What you'll be doing

As a Mobile Technician, you will provide annual inverter testing and as requested minor maintenance and fleet support to Fleet Services to ensure our vehicles and drivers are safe, compliant with the law, and ready to deliver equipment, resources and servicesto our customers.

Your key duties will include:

Inverter Testing
Carrying out scheduled inverter testing for all relevant Fleet vehicles

Minor Defect Maintenance

Ensuring Fleet are supported to reduce delays and costs for minor defects including broken bulbs, mirrors, lamps, stuck windows, and loose license plates

Minor Defects

Providing provision of quick checks and minor defect resolution for groups of vehicles at sites

Job Details:

- £40,000 to £45,000 depending on skills and experience

Company Van provided
Can be based in Basingstoke, Maple Lodge or Rickmansworth. However, you will be expected to locate and travel frequently across the Thames Water London and the Thames Valley customer areas
45 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Full training and excellent wider benefits package

We're looking for you to:

Hold a valid full UK manual driving licence
No more than 6 points on your licence
Experience of vehicle inspection and testing
Experience of general vehicle maintenance
Experience of electrical vehicle maintenance
Excellent communication skills and a flexible, proactive attitude
