_Business Analyst// SQL// Testing// Hybrid (4 days in office)_

Technical Business Analyst:

My client is a trade body for the Music and Recording industry. They work in many fields including anti piracy, content protection startegy, market research etc.

All this information is used to create various industry-leading reports, such as the annual Global Music Report, which provides an in-depth view of the Music industry.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Create and maintain scoping and process documentation for both new and existing functionality, with particular attention to technical details
  • QA estimating and testing for both new and existing system functionalities, and raising bugs/issues as needed with the development team
  • Evaluating and execute test cases under varying circumstances
  • Supporting the team by writing test scripts and completing initial User Acceptance Testing
  • Write User Stories in our Devops platform and ensure these are completed according to the agreed scope
  • Create and maintain user guides for the MAP system
  • Work closely with developers of our IT service company located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, including leading some Agile ceremonies such as daily standups

Key Requirements:


  • Experience of data manipulation in Excel, analysis of database structures and database querying using SQL
  • Proficient working with software systems, both frontend and backend
  • Proficiency in research, data analysis, and requirements gathering (documentation and flowcharts)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (mainly Excel and Visio)
