Search Consultancy are delighted to be supporting the continued, long-term growth of a highly successful Scottish business as they look to expand their well established Business to Business sales function in Glasgow.

Already partnering with some of the mostrecognisable brands in the UK, their exceptional training and development will see new entrants to the business develop industry knowledge and develop their career.

With several product/service offerings focused on supporting their clients grow their own businesses, the business has gone from strength to strength over a 30+ year period and is now looking to add significant growth to the team.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of client acquisition and delivering to an already established sales strategy.

The consultative nature of our client's product will see you acting as a trusted advisor, guiding potential clientsthrough product demonstrations and service offerings that will enable them to unlock revenue potential within their own businesses.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, qualify and acquire prospective clients based on a clear understanding of needs
  • Contributing to revenue growth by crossselling associated products or solutions
  • Hosting online meetings with stakeholders to present solutions based on their needs
  • Understand and utilise CRM tools such as Salesforce to track all account information
  • Develop a thorough understanding of product landscape, including knowledge of competitor product offerings
The Person

We are looking to speak with experienced Sales professionals with a background in Business to Business (B2B) sales or a strong background in Business to Consumer (B2C), looking to make that next step into B2B.

Sector background and level of experience is farless important than calibre of individual, passion and drive to succeed within a competitive environment.

You should be able to evidence strong communication skills, willingness to learn and a track record of achievement against revenue targets.
