The Company


Our Client is an internationally renowned designer and manufacturer of architectural solutions including rain-screen cladding, EWI, rendering and bespoke facades.


Established over 60 years ago, our Client is a highly respected business whose products can be found in some of the world's most high-profile building projects.


Providing bespoke design, consultancy, project management and installation services, our Client prides itself on the expertise and dedication of their people to ensure an unrivalled customer experience throughout the entire project.


As part of their plans to further expand their business in the UK market, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Specification Manager to focus on enhancing their brand.


The Role

Reporting to:
Sales Director


As Project Specification Manager, you will be responsible for the development of a project pipeline through a mixture of Specification and relationship building with Tier 1 & 2 Main Contractors and Installers to achieve a sales target within a defined geographicalarea.


Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with key decisionmakers in the EWI and Rainscreen Sector
  • Development of the project pipeline through a mixture of Specification and relationship building with Tier 1 & 2 Main Contractors and Installers to achieve a Sales Target within a defined geographical area
  • Have a defined strategic approach with key Architectural Practices
  • Deliver CPD Presentations to target specifiers and end users.
  • Record all customer communication and project data on the CRM system.
  • Produce detailed and accurate sales forecasts


In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability and drive to work autonomously and take ownership of your role and territory.


Essential skills required include:


  • Proven experience in consultive sales and Specification experience within the EWI or rainscreen sector and with a portfolio of senior contacts.
  • Proven track record of developing key relations within the Architect & Design community.
  • Highly skilled in growing a specified project pipeline as well as pipeline management and project tracking.
  • Experience delivering CPD Seminars both online and facetoface.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant UK building codes, including Fire Safety.
  • Experience in the use of CRM systems and analysis of sales and customer data.
  • Experience of Barbour ABI

  • Ability to communicate both technically and conceptually
  • Excellent presentation skills as well as written and verbal communication.
  • Commercially astute and an accomplished negotiator. Comfortable selling on concept and quality not price.
  • Familiarity with Value Engineering / Specification switching
  • Proven success in previous roles
  • Team player

Salary Negotiable basic salary dependent on experience +
