CNC Setter
Our client, a well
- established manufacturing company located in the Newry Area, are in search of a
CNC Setter to join their team.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Programming and set up of CNC
  • Changing the tooling of the CNC machine
  • Observing machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings to detect malfunctions, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometre and dial calliper
  • Maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated
  • Carry out planned tasks in accordance with requirements/deadlines
  • Carry out tasks within allotted time limits
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including H&S
  • Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls

Essential Criteria:


  • 2 years' experience in similar role
  • Ability to write/ edit programmes on CNC milling machinery
  • Experience of Fanuc iseries controls
  • Previous experience working to quality standards
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good level of verbal and written English
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong timekeeping & attendance record

What you need to do now

Salary:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
