Primary Responsibilities

Finance

  • Support credit control, crisis care, banking, gift aid and 500 Club in line with WMRSASC policies.
  • Ensure accurate, timely record keeping and input onto Sage.
  • Process supplier invoices and expenses for staff and volunteers.
  • Prepare and distribute sales invoices.
  • Accurately maintain customer and supplier accounts.
  • Administer online banking including BACS payments and reconciliations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly staff payroll and pension contributions.
  • Assist with monthly management accounts, including producing reports.
  • Support with annual audit.

Administrative and HR

  • Provide administrative support to the Finance and HR department.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and input onto Breathe HR.
  • Process Disclosure and Barring Service Checks for new employees and renewals for current staff, including online checks.
  • Maintain records of employee insurance, DBS and BACP (if relevant).
  • Assist with annual leave calculations.
  • Order equipment, stationery and office supplies as required.

General

  • Be familiar with all aspects of the Centre's work.
  • Work flexibly as a member of the team and be responsive to changing needs.
  • Undertake relevant training as required.
  • Work within the policies and procedures of WMRSASC and demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of the centre.
  • Maintain agreed levels of confidentiality
  • Participate in individual supervision, appraisal sessions and team meetings.
